Jon R. Van Dyke ( missing since May 2005 )
Jon R. Van Dyke - Missing since May 2005 - Confirmed alive May 11, 2009
Husband, Father, Grandfather, Retired USMC Msgt
Jon R. Van Dyke on Folley Beach celebratingdaughter's graduation from USMC boot camp.
Jon R. Van Dyke and wife, Maureen, before a KC Chief's game
It has been since May 19, 2005 since I hugged and kissed Jon goodbye at our front door and then never saw or talked to him again until May 11, 2009. 4 years, it's unimaginable.
Jon is alive but we don't have the whole story. He is a shell of himself, nothing exists of his personality/major personality shift took place. He has huge memory gaps. He dyes his hair, has fake teeth, wears wierd jewelry, wears clothes that he doesn't even look comfortable in. He met "friends" along the way....total strangers that are taking advantage of a man who may have stroked or had a major mental breakdown.
If anyone one knows about a group/cult, possibly bikers, where the men wear a horse ring....contact me!
At this time we are leaving this site up pretty much as is. This site is the documentation for how hard, and with so much love and concern for Jon's welfare that my family put in to the search for him. Thank you to all that helped us search! So many people put in many, many hours ....thank you for caring!
I will be drafting legislation to make it a criminal offense for an adult to go maliciously missing.
